Sophie scores 99 runs against a must win match against the Gujarat Giants.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore were in the last position in the points table until they played their last game against the Gujarat Giants. This is due to Sophie Divine’s performance, which contributed to the RCB’s victory over GG.

RCB’s star Sophie

At Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium, it’s never easy to reach 189 runs in 20 overs. But when Sophie is in her form, everything seems possible. In just 36 deliveries, Miss Divine scored 99 runs with her bat. In the game against GG, Sophie hit 8 big sixes and 9 beautiful boundaries. Sophie missed it by one run when Ashwani made an excellent catch to prevent Divine from reaching 100 runs.

Devine and Smriti Mandha shared a record-setting 125-run stand off 57 deliveries, chasing 189 runs to win, and Devine was on track to achieve what could have been a brilliant century.

Cricketer Divine surpassed UP Warriorz captain Alyssa Healy’s score of 96 runs in 47 balls against the RCB team.

Sophie on missing out her 100

Divine, who was named the match’s best player, said something very important about missing her 100. She stated, “All I care about is my team winning the match, and me being a part of it is all that matters to me.”

RCB’s fixture

Now RCB only has to play one more game, which they will play on March 21 against the Mumbai Indians. The Challengers’ ability to make the playoffs will be seen in this match, which is crucial to the RCB team.

Gujarat Giants are also left with one more game, which will be played on March 20 against the UP Warriorz.
