Rishabh Pant Hospitalized After A Massive Car Crash

Rishabh Pant India’s star wicketkeeper was hospitalized after surviving a major car accident while he was returning from Delhi to Uttarakhand.

Pant said that he fell asleep behind the wheel, which caused the car to crash into the divider and cause the accident, and that he escaped by shattering the windscreen.

According to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, Pant was operating his BMW when it crashed into the barrier at the Narsan border and caught fire. Pant was initially taken to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee.

Doctors said that Pant had a broken leg and a forehead injury. Dehat Swapna Kishore Singh, the superintendent of police, arrived at the location after receiving the information. The head of Saksham Hospital, Dr. Sushil Nagar, stated that Rishabh Pant’s status is stable right now. To the Max Hospital in Dehradun, he has been referred.

Rishabh’s automobile allegedly hit the railing, caught fire, and was seen by witnesses to have done so. The fire was largely unsuccessfully put out. Rishabh Pant was also transported to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road after the collision, where he suffered serious injuries.

Rishabh Pant not included for the Sri Lanka series

Both the ODI and T20I teams for India’s series against Sri Lanka did not include Rishabh Pant. Whether Pant was hurt, rested, or dropped was not made clear in the BCCI news statement. In the one-day matches against Bangladesh, the Delhi wicketkeeper sat out. Prior to the two-match Test series, the BCCI made the decision to rest him.
