The style section of The Washington Post has a half-page photograph of PM Modi flanked by the Bidens in the White House for the lavish state dinner.

With this magnificent welcome, India is sending a clear message to the world that the world's geopolitical equations are shifting, with India emerging as a vital player.

By far, a large percentage of H-1B visa holders and applicants hail from India. Indian citizens made up 73 percent of the nearly 4,42,000 H1-B workers in the fiscal year 2022.

The message, in fact, to both China and Russia was that the "rules-based international order" must be respected.

Meanwhile, PM Modi presented the US President with a copy of the first edition print of 'The Ten Principal Upanishads' published by Faber and Faber Ltd of London and printed at the University Press Glasgow.

"I had an excellent meeting with PM Modi. I am very impressed with the vision that he has for India and the advances that India is making. We discussed a wide range of topics and we really look forward to greater opportunities in India," said Mehrotra.

China’s no-holds-barred playbook in the region and beyond has caused realignments of policies and approaches, creating a new power adjustment and manoeuvre that backfire on Beijing’s regional agenda.

PM Modi is on a state visit to the US and is expected to hold talks on various issues with President Biden.

The visit is expected to give India access to critical American technologies Washington rarely shares with non-allies, strengthening a new bond that is underpinned by not just global politics but also business and economics.

The trip will be a high-profile affair, complete with a banquet at the White House and an address to the US Congress, making Modi the first Indian prime minister to speak in front of the legislature twice.
