A leading forum of the world's major economies, G20 seek to develop global policies to address today's most pressing challenges.

According to the source, India wants more mobility for students, professionals, and skilled employees in the UK since this is essential for the expansion of trade between the two countries.

In his address, Jaishankar observed that with the G20 Leaders’ Summit 2023 a little over a month away, four points were especially important with respect to the ongoing Indian G20 Presidency.

The T20 Summit is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation under the aegis of India’s G20 Presidency.

EAM Jaishankar stressed that international affairs have become "unprecedented and complex." He noted that India's people-centric policy is guided by demands and aspirations of society. He said that India speaks as the voice of peace, security and prosperity for all.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met the Member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Political Bureau and Director of the Office of the CPC Foreign Affairs Commission, Wang Yi, on the sidelines of the BRICS NSAs’ Meeting in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

The G20 ministers also agreed to recognise the role of grid interconnections, resilient energy infrastructure and regional/cross-border power systems integration, where applicable, in enhancing energy security, fostering economic growth, and facilitating universal energy access for all, in an affordable, reliable and sustainable manner.

The Group of 20 countries are holding conversations as the Ukraine conflict is close to 17 months, slowing the world economy and keeping policymakers on edge over surging prices and sluggish GDP.
