Selfie Point Instead of Garbage Heap Now: UP Minister AK Sharma begins 75-hour cleanliness campaign from Lucknow

UP Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma is every morning seen tweeting the employees of his departments and inspecting the sites himself.

Cleanliness Drive: Under the leadership of Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma, Government of Uttar Pradesh, the Urban Development Department is running a cleanliness campaign for 75 hours, under which commitment is made to eliminate GVP (Garbage Vulnerable Point) and convert them into a clean place. The campaign is being run in 75 districts, 75 hours and 750 bodies. These dirty places are going to be developed as selfie points.

Selfie point instead of garbage dump

The places where there used to be seen heaps of garbage earlier, now have been cleaned being dedicated to the common people with development works like selfie point, clean place and garden etc. Under the leadership of Minister AK Sharma, the urban body department is seen working continuously for cleanliness. Earlier, where there used to be garbage, now there is a situation of cleanliness. Due to the efforts of AK Sharma, sensitive places turned to garbage accumulations in the state were completely eliminated and converted into clean places.

Instead of talking, Minister AK Sharma believes in working. He is seen every morning tweeting the employees of his departments and inspecting the sites himself. Through tweets, ministers are seen appealing to the general public to join the campaigns run by the government and make the campaign successful. The historicity of the 75 districts, 75 hours, 750 civic bodies campaign can be gauged from the fact that such a campaign is being run for the first time in the history of the civic bodies of India.
