Chinese Protests: Is the climax close for Xi Jinping?

China Protests are the hot news world wide being germinated from the the Corona country itself. Now the reply to the big question is desperately awaited – Is the full control of Xi Jinping leading to ‘full collapse’?

There are speculations in China that the unrest started in Urumqi spreading to anger online and then offline it involved people actively. The public anger in the form of protests has also showed an unprecedented solidarity of Han Chinese along with minorities which are rallying around a common cause.

Nevertheless, this is the same China which is well known for the government sponsored bloody event of Tiananmen Square thirty three years ago bloody in the year 1989. In the same dictatorial state of China, this remains to be seen how protesters are going to stand up to state backlash.

China’s Zero Covid policy is the new reason for the public indignance. Protesters are seen holding up blank papers chanting slogans against the government in the capital on Sunday.

It is Xi Jinping only who around a month back positioned himself as the presumed Chinese top leader for a life time. Now there is an unexpected public outpouring of protests coming up against his government’s zero Covid policy. Again this is the same policy that dictates a series of forced lengthy quarantines, snap lockdowns along with compulsory mass testing until there are zero cases. Now this situation leads observers to ask if Jingping’s “full control” has is in fact leading to “full collapse” kind of event?
