Dangerous Tornado Outbreak: Storms To Start Up In Eastern Texas, Louisiana & Arkansas

New York: Intense, long-track tornadoes with an EF-3 or higher are likely Friday afternoon and evening in the South due to a dangerous tornado outbreak.

Flash floods, which could extend from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania, as well as damaging winds and large hail, are further risks that extend all the way to Tennessee and Indiana.

Beginning on Friday afternoon across eastern Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, the storms will intensify that evening along the Mississippi River from Louisiana to Memphis through Mississippi.

On Friday, thunderstorms to the north along the Ohio River Valley could produce flash flooding and several inches of rain.

Saturday morning will see snow from Michigan to Iowa thanks to the same storm system.
