Russia-Ukraine War: India helps avoid the global catastrophe of war, PM Modi’s views on nuclear weapons deeply impacted Russia, says CIA chief praising the Indian Prime Minister.

Russia-Ukraine War: During today’s time of the Ukraine-Russia war, US Intelligence Agency Director Bill Burns says that PM Modi had expressed concern about the use of nuclear weapons, and this has had a deep impact on Russia.

Russia-Ukraine War:  The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for almost 10 months. Both countries are not ready to back down. Many beautiful cities in Ukraine have turned into ruins. Thousands of soldiers and civilians were killed in the war. At the same time, hundreds of people have also become homeless. Many world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, fear that Russia could opt for using nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern about the use of nuclear weapons. PM Modi had warned Russia about the global catastrophe in very soft and effective words. That statement of the Indian Prime Minister left a deep impression on Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin and other leaders there felt that PM Modi’s words were correct. A nuclear attack is not the solution to the war.

The American Intelligence Agency (CIA) is now praising PM Modi’s advice given to Russia on the attack of nuclear weapons. CIA director Bill Burns has said that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed deep concern about the use of nuclear weapons, and his views have profoundly impacted Russia. This is the reason why nuclear weapons have not been used in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine since 24 February. CIA director Bill Burns said in an interview, ‘I think it’s all for scaring the rival. But today we do not see any evidence of plans to use strategic nuclear weapons in the ongoing war.’

In fact, the CIA director’s statement followed Russian President Putin’s statement, in which he threatened with words insinuating a nuclear attack. At a meeting of Russia’s Human Rights Council in the Kremlin, Putin said that he considered Moscow’s nuclear weapons a solution rather than a provocation.

From the beginning of the Russia – Ukraine war, India has been talking about resolving the issue through dialogue and diplomacy. In a telephonic conversation with Russian President Putin on December 16, PM Modi had clearly told diplomacy can be opted for as the only solution to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
