Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributes about 71,000 appointment letters to the freshly appointed employees today on the auspicious occasion of Baishakhi. It was done under ‘Rashtriya Rozgar Yojana’ which is aimed at improving the employment rate of the nation. address the appointees on the occasion. The Rozgar Yojna is a step towards the fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation. The Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development. Youth have got jobs in various profiles in different departments of the government. PM is attending the event through online conferencing.

The ‘Rozgar Mela’ is taking place in three distinct cities under the control of NF Railway: Guwahati in Assam, Siliguri in North Bengal, and Dimapur in Nagaland.

At the Railway Rang Bhavan Cultural Hall in Guwahati, the newly chosen youths is receiving their appointment letters from the Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal as part of this programme. Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for the Departments of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Labor and Employment, delivering the appointment letters in Dimapur’s Imliyanger Memorial Center.

Minister of State (MoS) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India Nisith Pramanik is  the Chief Guest of the Siliguri programme and is distributing the appointment letters at Railway Officers Club, New Jalpaiguri. 207 candidates in Guwahati, 217 candidates in Dimapur and 225 candidates in Siliguri from various government departments are being handed over the appointment letters in this program.

The newly hired individuals, who were chosen from all over the nation, will work in a variety of positions/posts for the Government of India, including Train Manager, Station Master, Senior Commercial and Ticket Clerk, Inspector, Sub Inspectors, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Senior Draughtsman, JE/Supervisor, Assistant Professor, Teacher, Librarian, Nurse, Probationary Officers, PA, and MTS, among others.
