Blinken lauded PM Modi's visit as "historic" and praised the diaspora as the relationship's driving force while speaking at an event honouring him on Friday that was hosted by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.

According to the White House, the first couple will give Prime Minister Modi a handcrafted, early 20th-century American book galley. Additionally, they give the prime minister other presents.

India and the United States, with their advanced technological capabilities and shared democratic values, are uniquely positioned to collaborate in fortifying the security and integrity of their digital landscapes.

During the meeting, the two leaders also reviewed progress under the India-US Initiative on Critical & Emerging Technologies (iCET).

Earlier this week, the US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the US partnership with India is one of its most consequential relationships and the country works closely with India on vital priorities.
